밤하늘의 별과 달에 대한 기억은 어린 시절의 하굣길을 함께 걷는 친구 같은 존재로 남아 있다. 현재의 나에게까지 이어져 말없이 마음으로 손을 잡아주는 존재이자 늘 그 자리에 있다는 사실만으로도 위로가 되는 존재로서, 밤하늘에서 비추는 달빛은 언제나 곁에 머무는 친구이자 예술적 여정에서의 조용한 동행자이다. 이 작품에서 네온은 단순한 물리적 시각 재료가 아니라, 자연과 상상의 경계에서 예술적 사유를 연결하는 매개체가 된다. 변화하고 반복하는 자연의 흐름 속에서 발생하는 감각과 감정들은, 네온의 물성을 통해 새로운 물질로 시각화된다.
Memories of the stars and moon in the night sky remain like a friend who walked home with me after school in childhood. The moonlight which illuminates the night sky extends into my present life, silently holding my hand with comfort and serves as a source of comfort simply by always being there. It is a friend that always stays by my side and a quiet companion on my artistic journey. In this work, neon is not merely a physical visual material, but a medium that connects artistic thought at the boundary between nature and imagination. The sensations and emotions that take place within the changing and recurring flow of nature are visualized as a new material through the physical properties of neon.
