자연의 요소- 하늘과 땅을 연결하는 나무
수백 년 이상을 지탱하여 그 역사와 흔적을 남겨주는 기념적인 자연의 상징이기도 하며, 예로부터 나무는 마을을 대표 할 수 있는 기념목이 되어 사람들이 모이는 모임의 장소이기도 했다. “나무”는 하나의 중심을 이루며 자연의 요소와 더불어 수직적인 형상을 갖춘 조형적으로 완벽한 형상을 지니고 있다.

작품의 모티브인 나무는 뿌리, 줄기, 잎과 열매를 이루는 자연의 순환을 포괄적으로 내포한다. 순환의 요소는 자연과 사람의 상호적인 관계를 지속적으로 유지시킨다. 자연과 사람이 함께하는 꿈을 열리게 하는 나무를 작품의 주제로 삼았다.

자연의 요소-바람을 이용한 인터렉티브적 요소가 가미된 움직이는 조각으로 홀로 서있는(Stand Alone)형태의 나무 형상은 바람에 흔들리는 나뭇잎을 기본 영감으로 출발한 작품이며, 오브제 중 풍경이 매달리게 되는데, 바람에 의해 흔들리면서 잔잔한 종의 울림 소리가 퍼지게 된다. 야간에는 작품 내부조명으로 은은한 불빛이 발산하여 작품 표면에 표현된 별전들의 구멍 사이로 세어 나오는 빛은 환상적인 빛으로 스테인리스 스틸의 재질을 반사하게 되면서 나무작품과 상단에 매달린 오브제들의 조화로운 빛깔과 소리가 함께 하모니를 이루게 된다.

Elements of Nature – Trees that connect the sky and the Earth. 

Artist Sung Dong-Hun chose the tree that opens up the dream of nature and humans coming together as the theme of his work.A commemorative symbol of nature that has lived for hundreds of years and with traces of history, a tree was often the representative landmark of a village and its spot for people to gather. A “Tree” vertically forms the center of the village, and has elements of the perfect shape and nature. The motif of the work, the tree, comprehensively implies the cycle of nature by its roots, stems, leaves, and fruit. 

The element of circulation continues to maintain the mutual relationship between nature and people. The wooden figure in the “standing alone” form with an interactive element which is the wind, was inspired by the leaves moving with the wind, and a charm hung on it spreads the calm sound of a bell At night, the interior lighting emits a subtle light through the holes on the surface that magnificently reflect against the stainless steel, and comes into harmony with well-meshing colors of the hanging objects.
