김이박 <식물정거장>

작가는 식물을 비롯하여 모든 것의 건강하거나 좋은 면 만을 보는 것보다 아프거나 병든 모습도 다시 한번 살펴보자는 의미로 <식물 정거장>을 제작하였다. 온실에는 ‘아픈’ 식물들과 함께 다양한 조명과 병충해를 입은 식물을 그린 작품들이 함께 전시된다. 작가는 ‘노원 정원 지원센터’와 협업하여 병들거나 시들어서 상품의 가치가 없어진 식물들을 온실 안에 모아 관객들에게 보여준다. 전시 기간 동안에 보호와 관심 속에서 병들거나 아픈 식물들이 다시 회복되는 과정을 볼 수 있다.
조명이 만드는 식물의 그림자, 병충해 드로잉들을 살펴보면서 우리가 지나치고 지나온 풍경들에 대해서 이야기해 보고 생각해 보는 기회가 되기를 바란다.

With hopes that we should pay attention to the sick and unwell aspects of everything as well as its good and healthy sides, artist Kim Lee Park created . In the greenhouse, “sick” plants with various lighting along with pest-infected plants are displayed together. In collaboration with Nowon Garden Support Center, the artist displays the collected plants with no value due to their withering conditions and shows them to the visitors in a greenhouse. During the exhibition, you can witness the withered plants recover through protection and care. Kim wishes to bring an opportunity for the viewers to contemplate on the sceneries that they have passed by, while looking at the shadows of plants or drawings of the diseased plants.
