인류에게 코로나 시대는 분명 혼란의 시기였다. 개인의 건강과 생명뿐 아니라 사회적 가치관, 경제, 문화 등 안정된 것으로 보이던 인류 문명 전체가 요동쳤다. 그러나 3년이라는 시간 동안 우리는 질서를 찾아갔고, 바이러스 역시 인간 속에서 살아남는 방법을 찾아갔다.
코스모스 밭에 별을 상징하는 빛 덩어리들이 반짝인다. 코스모스라는 말은 그리스어로 질서, 혹은 우주를 뜻하며, 코스모스 꽃도 이런 의미를 갖고 있다. 코스모스 밭에 작은 별들이 내려 군집을 이룬다. 코스모스(질서)와 반대의 의미인 카오스(혼돈)를 연상케 하는 선으로 얽히고 설킨 프레임 속에 오색의 찬란한 빛들이 반짝인다. 질서는 언제나 혼돈과 대립되어 긍정적인 의미로 쓰이지만 혼돈이 없는 질서도 없다. 서로 다른 것들이 어지러이 공존하는 속에서 균형과 질서를 이룰 때 가장 아름답듯이 우리의 삶도 혼란과 역경을 이겨낸 후 더욱 견고해질 것이다.

For humankind, the Covid era was a time of chaos. The seemingly stable human civilization was stirred, including the individual health and life, social values, economy, and culture. However, during the course of three years, we have rekindled an order, while the virus also has found ways to inhabit among the humankind.

The lumps of light symbolizing stars sparkle on the field of cosmos flowers. “Cosmos” means order or the universe in Greek, and the flower has the same meaning as well. Small stars have fallen on the flower field and formed a herd. In a frame that is intertwined with lines that reminds the word “chaos”, which is the antonym to “cosmos”, bright colors of light sparkle. In contrast to “chaos”, “order” always connotes a positive meaning, but there is no order without the chaos. As what is the most beautiful is when differing elements coexist in balance and order, our lives will become more strong after overcoming confusion and adversity.
