남북한을 나타내는 귀여운 두 동물이 의 퓨전(합체)자세로 서있다. 두 동물의 얼굴은 당현천에 사는 너구리와 고양이다. 두 동물의 형상을 따라 한반도모양 그림자가 커다랗게 벽면에 드러난다. 한반도의 평화를 바라는 노원구 청소년들의 열망을 표현했다.
이 작품은 노원문화재단이 불암골행복발전소와 함께 시행한 달빛예술학교 참가자들의 공동의뢰로 제작되었다. 달빛예술학교에 참가한 불암골 청소년들은 5주에 걸쳐 노원구와 당현천의 역사와 정체성을 토론하여, 노원구민들의 가장 큰 공감을 받을 수 있는 공공미술작품의 주제와 형태를 스스로 결정했다.

The youth of Nowon-gu expressed their aspiration for peace in Korea, through participating in Moonlight Art Academy program organized by the Nowon Foundation for Arts and Culture with Bulamgol Happy Power Plant.
Over the course of five weeks, the participants discussed the history and identity of Nowon-gu and Danghyeon stream, and autonomously determined on the artwork’s theme and shape that would most resonate with the residents of Nowon.

그림자와 여백으로 하나의 형태에서 여러가지 형상과 의미를 찾는 조각을 만들고 있다. 2004년 첫 개인전<여행>을 시작으로 열 두번의 개인전을 가졌고 백여회의 단체전을 참여했으며, 저서로 <여백의 무게>, 공저로 <그럴수밖에 없는 그릴수밖에 없는>을 펴냈다.
