자연과 인간, 지구는 홀로 서지 않고 서로를 맞물려 지탱하는 존재이다. 이를 상징적으로 보여주기 위해 상호 지지 구조로 이루어진 의 중심에서 타오르는 불꽃, 그리고 빛과 소리의 신호는, 지금 이 순간에도 우리 발밑에서 살아 고동치는 지구의 맥박(Pulse of Earth)을 전해준다.
돔이 타전하는 신호는 ‘HOLD TOGETHER (함께 붙들다, 서로를 지탱하다)’라는 문장이 변환된다. 서로 기대어 견고한 공간을 완성한 순환 목재들처럼, 점과 선으로 이어지는 생명의 호흡 속에서 우리가 모두 하나의 끈으로 단단히 연결되어 있음을 느껴보자는 의미를 담았다.
Nature, humanity, and the Earth do not stand alone, but exist by interlocking and supporting one another. To symbolize this, at the center of , which is built on mutually supporting structure, signals of flame burning at the center, light and sound, conveys the pulse of the Earth, which continues to live and beat beneath our feet even at this very moment. The signal transmitted by the dome is converted into the phrase “HOLD TOGETHER (meaning to hold together and support one another). Like the pieces of reclaimed wood that lean on one another to complete a solid structure, the work invites us to feel that we are all firmly connected by a single bond through the breath of life that extends in points and lines.
