I am a community docent for the Nowon Moonlight Walk, connecting artists and visitors by sharing the stories within the artworks.
History
The Moonlight Docents are community docents who took their first steps with the Nowon Moonlight Walk in 2020. Having trained in art theory, exhibition interpretation, and writing to become professional guides, they are steadfast companions on the Nowon Moonlight Walk, conveying the stories within the artworks and connecting the hearts of artists and visitors.
2025 Moonlight Guide
2025 Nowon Moonlight Walk <Moon for All>
Eight Moonlight Guides who have prepared for the festival together for an even longer period as they enter their sixth year.
They will present exhibition commentary accessible to everyone, designed for all to understand easily.

2024 Moonlight Guide
The Nowon Moonlight Walk attracted 1.25 million visitors. The moonlight guides also met diverse visitors. Through group tours for the Korea Association of the Visually Impaired in Art and tours for international students, they gained the capability to conduct customized tours tailored to visitors.

2023 Moonlight Guide
Nowon Moonlight Walk has launched a Sunlight Tour held during the daytime to reach more visitors. To cultivate more professional guides, we have prepared a more systematic and specialized training program.

2021 Moonlight Guide
The existing district tour guides have been rebranded as “Moonlight Guides.” During the tour, visitors had the opportunity to hear directly from the artists themselves through a “Meet the Artist” segment, deepening their understanding of the works. Tours for the visually impaired were also conducted.

2020 Moonlight Guide
The first year of Nowon Moonlight Walk saw the birth of the Moonlight Guides, known as ‘Resident Guides’. A total of 10 residents personally served as guides, conveying to visitors the significance of the Nowon Moonlight Walk's inception and the meaning behind the exhibited works.
