Artists Workshop
This is a workshop for the Nowon Moonlight Walk, where artists gather to share themes and inspire each other through their works.
History
Nowon Moonlight Walk is created in collaboration with artists spanning sculpture, painting, and media art. At the artist workshop held before the exhibition, participants deliberate on the year's theme, share their artistic worlds, and exchange inspiration.
2026 Artist Workshop
This year’s artist workshop took the form of a special preview for our Moonlight Guides and Nowon residents.
The participating artists introduced themselves and their works, sharing the ideas and meanings behind each piece. Our Moonlight Guides, who play a special role in the Nowon Moonlight Walk, also shared their experiences of the festival as docents.
It was a meaningful opportunity for artists, local residents, and Moonlight Guides to come together, exchange stories about the artworks and the walk itself, and enjoy an early glimpse of the upcoming Nowon Moonlight Walk.
2025 Artist Workshop
The 2025 Artist Workshop, held twice in June and August. Most of the 18 participating artist teams attended, sharing introductions about themselves, their conceptual ideas for works, and their current progress. This provided an opportunity to strengthen the significance of the collaborative exhibition they are creating together.
